I knew I couldn’t follow the child everywhere or interfere too soon. So, I made a difficult decision—to step back temporarily and return when the time was right.
I chose to wait.
Two years.
Two long years of preparing myself mentally, emotionally, and financially for the responsibility ahead. I understood that if I wanted to be part of the child’s life, I had to become a better and more stable person.
This experience changed me deeply.
For the first time, I began to think seriously about settling down. I realized that building a family required more than just good intentions—it required structure, commitment, and maturity.
So, I made up my mind to find a life partner and create a stable foundation for the future.
As I waited for the right moment to reconnect with my child, one question remained in my heart:
Would fate give me another chance to be the father I was meant to be?
