Part 1: An Unexpected Incident
That evening, I went to her usual spot, just as I had done many times before. I brought food with me, hoping she would accept it quietly as she sometimes did. As I tossed the items toward her, something unexpected happened—my wallet slipped from my hand and landed beside the food.
My heart sank immediately.
Before I could react, she quickly picked up both the food and the wallet. I tried to retrieve it gently, but she became defensive and refused to let go. Realizing the situation could escalate, I chose to step back and leave. It wasn’t worth creating a scene or drawing attention.
The next morning, as I drove past the same street, something surprising happened. She ran toward my car and threw my wallet back at me. It hit the front of the vehicle before falling to the ground. Then she quickly walked away.
I stepped out, picked up my wallet, and noticed that everything was still intact. A small smile crossed my face.
A man nearby shouted, urging me to react harshly. But I calmly replied, “No one should harm her. She needs understanding, not judgment.”
Without another word, I got back into my car and drove away, hoping no one would question my quiet involvement.
