Despite the incident, I continued to look out for her—always from a distance, always discreetly. I made sure she had food, even if it meant leaving it in a way that wouldn’t attract attention.

What puzzled me most was her condition. She seemed physically strong and healthier than one might expect. It made me both curious and concerned.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. Time passed quickly, and before I knew it, nearly nine months had gone by.

Then one day, I arrived at her usual spot—but she was gone.

A sense of unease filled me.

Trying not to raise suspicion, I asked around casually. That’s when I learned she had gone into labor a few days earlier. Some women in the area had helped and taken her to a nearby clinic.

At that moment, everything changed. I knew I had to find her.
