My name is Fabiana, and this is my fight against cancer. It’s a journey that strips us of all our most superficial layers. Losing my hair was symbolic, a forced detachment that made me confront who I am without my usual frames. And, incredibly, I discovered that there is immense strength in vulnerability. In these eyes, I now see the stubbornness of a survivor. I see the will to see the sun rise again, the hope of a tight hug, and the desire to smile again without weight.
There are days when the pain is physical, and others when it is emotional. Fear tries to steal our peace, but faith and the support of all of you are my fuel. Every positive thought, every word of encouragement, every bit of affection I receive is a balm. That’s why I come here, with an open heart and all the honesty in the world, and ask you: can you wish me luck? Good energy makes all the difference on this journey. Thank you for listening and for being here. We will overcome this.
