I followed my husband to a hotel because I suspected I was being unfaithful. She was right, but she was not prepared to find out who came out of her side.
My father had been dead for nine years, but when my world fell apart, his grave was the only place I wanted to go.
I sat on a bench next to his tombstone, watching a video on my phone. In it appeared my husband, Mark, leaving a hotel with his arm around Jenna, my son's wife, who had barely been married to him for three months.
My son, Daniel, arrived shortly after, still dressed in his medical uniform. I showed him the video.
He saw it twice before whispering:
